Independent Candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Ends Campaign to Support Donald Trump"
Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. announced he is suspending his campaign and endorsing former President Donald Trump as the Republican nominee. The announcement was made at the Renaissance Phoenix Downtown Hote

hoenix, Arizona, on August 23, 2024.
On October 28,
officials in swing state Wisconsin informed the U.S. Supreme Court that they oppose Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s emergency application to have his name removed from the ballot.
Early in-person absentee voting in Wisconsin began on October 22.
The application in the case of Kennedy v. Wisconsin Elections Commission was submitted on October 23, directed to U.S. Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett, who is responsible for ha
dling emergency litigation arising from Wisconsin. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is seeking to remove his name from the ballot amid ongoing political developments. This legal action comes at a crucial time as early in-person absentee voting has already commenced in the state, intensifying the urgency of the case as officials prepare for the upcoming election. The Supreme Court's response could significantly impact the electoral landscape in Wisconsin.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr., originally a Democrat turned independent, suspended his presidential campaign on August 23 and endorsed former President Donald Trump, the Republican candidate.
Since suspending his campaign, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has sought to remove his name from ballots in key battleground states.
He previously said he was doing this to avoid siphoning votes away from Trump in swing states while leaving room for a longshot bid for the presidency in a possible so-called contingent election, which would put the presidency in the hands of the U.S. House of Representatives in the event of an electoral college deadlock.
